Prashant Kishor, the influential political strategist and founder of the Jan Suraaj party, announced a bold plan to challenge the BJP in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. Kishor aims to create an alliance between Hindus inspired by the ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi and Babasaheb Ambedkar, and the Muslim community, as a strategic move against the ruling party.

In a session with Muslim leaders from his party, Kishor emphasized that not all Hindus are aligned with the BJP, suggesting that a significant portion can be united under a different ideological banner. His vision targets building an alliance that resonates on ideological grounds rather than mere political strategy.

Kishor's initiative, which includes fielding 40 Muslim candidates in the 243-seat Bihar legislative assembly, has stirred criticism from the established RJD-Congress-Left alliance.
