The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) made a decisive announcement on Wednesday, revealing its candidates for the imminent bypolls scheduled across several states. Key figures Aga Syed Mohsin and Devyani Rana will represent the party from the Budgam and Nagrota seats in Jammu and Kashmir respectively.
In a strategic move, Babulal Soren has been chosen to contest from Ghatshila in Jharkhand, a seat reserved for Scheduled Tribes. Meanwhile, in Odisha, Jay Dholakia is set to enter the race from Nuapada, and Lankala Deepak Reddy is slated to compete from Jubilee Hills in Telangana, as per the list released by the BJP.
The political battlegrounds will see action on November 11, encompassing constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Jharkhand, Mizoram, Punjab, Telangana, and Rajasthan, with vote counting scheduled for November 14.
