Rahul Gandhi's statement, made during the inauguration of the Delhi Congress office, is alleged to have hurt public sentiments nationwide. The complaint was filed by Simran Gupta, a leader of Hindu Shakti Dal, who argued that Gandhi's comment targeted the sentiments of the people.

Arguments concluded on Tuesday, with Senior advocate Sagir Saifi defending Gandhi by challenging the maintenance of the revision petition. The verdict is set for November 7.
