Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a fierce criticism of the Election Commission, alleging its biased operation in favor of the BJP. Speaking at the 'Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod' rally held at Ramlila Maidan, he accused top election officials of colluding with the ruling party.
Gandhi emphasized his party's commitment to truth and vowed to oust the Modi-RSS government. He accused the BJP of electoral misconduct, claiming the transfer of Rs 10,000 during elections, to which he says the Election Commission turned a blind eye.
Furthermore, Gandhi promised to retroactively amend the law providing immunity to election commissioners, aiming for accountability. Pledging a peaceful approach, he insisted that truth and non-violence would prevail in their political struggle against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
