David Vallenilla, whose son was a victim of a politically motivated killing, views the development with skepticism and hope. He believes that justice for those responsible for his son's death has begun, and he dreams of a free Venezuela. Journalist Carleth Morales, who emigrated amid Chávez's presidency, also hopes for her daughters to see a democratic Venezuela as a viable future.
