Rasmalai Jibe Turns Sweet Victory for BJP in BMC Polls

In a turn of events, BJP candidates emerged victorious in the BMC polls despite facing a jibe from MNS chief Raj Thackeray. Campaign efforts by BJP leader K Annamalai led to successful outcomes for candidates Tejinder Singh Tiwana, Yogesh Varma, and Dakshata Kavthankar in Mumbai wards, overcoming political challenges.

BJP candidates secured a significant victory in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) polls, turning a sour political insult into a sweet triumph. Party leader K Annamalai's campaign efforts proved fruitful as candidates Tejinder Singh Tiwana, Yogesh Varma, and Dakshata Kavthankar emerged winners in their respective wards.

This victory came despite a jibe from MNS chief Raj Thackeray, who mocked Annamalai with the 'rasmalai' label during the campaign. The BJP candidates, backed by Annamalai's strategic efforts in Mumbai, managed to sweep their wards successfully.

While Annamalai's remarks sparked controversy, labeling Mumbai as an 'international city', the results have silenced critics, highlighting the effective ground campaign run by the BJP leader and his team.
