Raj Thackeray, chief of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), openly addressed the party's disappointing results in the recent BMC elections, expressing his unwavering commitment to advocating for the Marathi people.
In a post on X, he described the elections as a contest between 'Shiv Shakti and money power,' urging party members not to be discouraged. With his cousin Uddhav Thackeray, president of Shiv Sena (UBT), Raj had jointly campaigned to uphold Marathi pride.
Despite winning only six seats compared to the Shiv Sena (UBT)'s 65, Raj Thackeray praised both parties' persistence. He emphasized that though the MNS faced setbacks, it remains committed to challenging any forces acting against Marathi interests. Raj vowed to stand firm in their long-term fight for the Marathi identity.
