She pointed out the deployment of armoured vehicles for the state Assembly elections while alluding to the Centre's failure to prevent the Pahalgam terror attack a year ago.

Addressing a rally in her Rashbehari constituency, Banerjee criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks about women's safety in the state, branding them a 'pack of lies.' She highlighted the significant presence of central forces and army vehicles, questioning their absence during the Pahalgam incident.

Banerjee urged women voters to be vigilant during the polls, alleging attempts at electoral manipulation. She also emphasized preventing influence from outsiders and financial inducements by BJP agents. She warned against claims of TMC-BJP collusion, pointing to past efforts to restore voter lists, as she continued her campaign ahead of the elections.
