Speaking at a reception honoring him and fellow winners, Chandrasekhar compared this achievement to the BJP's journey in West Bengal, where they expanded from five MLAs to planning a government with 207.

Chandrasekhar emphasized the BJP's commitment to development over corruption, assuring the new MLAs will drive effective governance. He believes the three BJP representatives can significantly impact the state's over 100 UDF legislators. He stated this would pave the way for substantial political change, benefiting the state.

Meanwhile, BJP colleague V Muraleedharan highlighted that their Assembly presence will vocalize public issues. He also raised questions regarding the new government's actions on contentious matters, such as the Sabarimala entry issue and the gold loss cases.
