Joseph Vazhackan, a prominent Congress leader, has weighed in on the ongoing delay in appointing Kerala's next Chief Minister, describing it as a natural process aimed at preventing disputes within the party. The decision involves contenders V D Satheesan, Ramesh Chennithala, and K C Venugopal.

Vazhackan emphasized the importance of a careful approach, asserting that the party High Command must make the final selection, with the ultimate goal of a harmonious decision. Despite delays, he assured that the process is on track and comparable to previous political scenarios.

He mentioned that the Congress Legislature Party meeting in Thiruvananthapuram will proceed without major changes. The Congress-led UDF, having won the elections in Kerala, is poised to announce the new Chief Minister once the party settles on a candidate.
