The NATO summit pact calls for enhanced information sharing on icebreaker production, training of workers and experts in each country's shipyards, and encouraging allies to purchase icebreakers from American, Finnish, or Canadian shipyards.
Daleep Singh, White House deputy national security adviser for international economics, emphasized that the collaboration sends a strong message to Russia and China regarding US and allies' commitment to industrial policy and competitive edge.
