India to Launch National Cyber Criminal Registry, Deploy 5,000 Cyber Commandos
India plans to establish a national registry of suspected cyber criminals and deploy around 5,000 cyber commandos over the next five years to combat cybercrime, announced by Home Minister Amit Shah during a conference.

These 'commandos' will be highly skilled experts collaborating with police and regional authorities, Home Minister Amit Shah revealed at a recent conference.
The move underscores India's growing efforts to fortify its cybersecurity infrastructure amidst rising digital threats.
