Arunachal Pradesh to Draft New Industrial Policy to Boost Investments

Arunachal Pradesh is preparing to draft a new industrial policy with the intent of attracting substantial investments to the state, according to Industries Minister Nyato Dukam.
The announcement was made during a review meeting attended by senior officers from the Industries, IPR and Printing, Trade and Commerce, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Labour and Employment, Textile and Handicrafts, and Sericulture departments.
Dukam emphasized the importance of gathering input from stakeholders to ensure the policy harnesses the state's industrial potential and remains investor-friendly. He also stressed the need for robust inter-departmental coordination to capitalize on opportunities and drive the success of the state's economic sectors.
The meeting also featured presentations by officials from various departments, highlighting current challenges, opportunities, and future strategies.
