NEWME, a rising fashion brand, is charting an aggressive expansion strategy to cater to Gen Z women, with plans to open 40-50 stores across 20 key cities in the next 12-18 months, according to CEO Sumit Jasoria. The brand aims to enhance its online platform, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience for its customers.
"Our journey since 2022 has been driven by a deep understanding of Gen Z women who express their individuality through fashion," said Jasoria, founder and CEO. The company has seen rapid growth, with a 2X quarter-on-quarter expansion, largely benefiting from its online presence and significant footfall in retail stores.
NEWME recently concluded a funding round led by Accel, securing USD 18 million. The funds will be used to build a robust omni-channel presence, optimize the supply chain, and invest in innovation and talent. The brand is committed to further scaling its sourcing activities within India, which currently accounts for over 40% of its merchandise.
