Global fast-food giant McDonald's has made its debut in the capital city of Sikkim, Gangtok. This marks the company's second venture into India's North Eastern region, following its earlier expansion in Assam.
The franchise, managed by Connaught Plaza Restaurants, now includes 190 outlets and 75 McCafé establishments across North and East India. The latest addition aims to bring a touch of international cuisine to Sikkim's vibrant urban landscape.
Rajeev Ranjan, Managing Director of McDonald's India - North and East, expressed enthusiasm about introducing the iconic brand's offerings to Gangtok residents. The new location, spanning 2,240 square feet, boasts a seating capacity of 116 and a modern interior design.
