India's Electrical Export Ambitions: A USD 25 Billion Vision

The Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association (IEEMA) is geared up to significantly increase the country's exports in this sector to USD 25 billion within the next five years, as confirmed by an industry official on Saturday.
IEEMA President Sunil Singhvi, during a discussion at Elecrama 2025 in Greater Noida, emphasized plans to transform India into a global hub for electronics and electrical manufacturing. He highlighted the global market's evolving preference for India as a reliable partner in energy solutions amidst a supply chain shift.
To realize this ambitious goal, Singhvi pointed out the importance of engaging in international standardization efforts, advocating for export-friendly policies, and enhancing local testing capabilities. Additionally, he encouraged industry players to invest in innovation, skill development, and state-of-the-art technologies to align with international standards.
