Jindal Stainless Expands Infrastructure Impact with New Steel Fabrication Plant

Jindal Stainless has launched a steel fabrication unit in Maharashtra, investing Rs 125 crore to boost India's infrastructure sector. The facility aims to increase fabrication capacity from 4,000 tonnes to 18,000 tonnes by FY26-27 to meet the rising demand for sustainable bridge infrastructure.

Jindal Stainless announced the inauguration of a state-of-the-art steel fabrication unit in Maharashtra on Monday. With an initial investment of Rs 125 crore, the facility aims to bolster India's infrastructural framework by producing critical components like bridge girders.

The new unit, situated in Mumbai's Patalganga, is expected to significantly enhance the country's infrastructure capabilities. The firm projects an increase in fabrication capacity from the current 4,000 tonnes to 18,000 tonnes annually by fiscal year 2026-27, meeting the country's growing need for high-quality, sustainable construction.

As India's leading stainless steel manufacturer, Jindal Stainless has committed to scaling its production to reach an annual capacity of 4.2 million tonnes by FY27. This move underscores their dedication to offering integrated solutions in the infrastructure domain, underlining the vital role of steel fabrication in linking connections nationwide.
