A Beijing court has ruled that Malaysia Airlines must compensate the families of some passengers from the missing flight MH370, awarding over 2.9 million yuan ($410,240) per case. This decision pertains to eight cases involving passengers, as reported by state broadcaster CCTV.
The legal proceedings have seen another 47 cases being settled and subsequently withdrawn. However, there are still 23 cases currently under trial, awaiting their outcomes. Malaysia Airlines has yet to provide any public comment on these developments.
These proceedings follow the long-standing legal battles over the disappearance of flight MH370, which continues to be a profound mystery in aviation history.
