Revamping India's Logistics: A Path to Global Connectivity

Officials highlight that India's logistics are undergoing structural transformation, characterized by digital platforms and coordinated policy reforms. Despite global disruptions, efforts focus on fortifying supply chain integration, aligning with the National Logistics Policy, PM GatiShakti initiative, and the SMILE program. This is expected to enhance economic growth and boost competitiveness.

At an event on March 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the need for resilience amidst the current energy crisis, stressing continuous efforts to surmount international supply chain challenges. A significant component of this initiative includes data-driven logistics planning at the state and city levels to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs nationwide.
