UPSC aspirants have continued their week-long protest following the tragic deaths of three students—Shreya Yadav, Tanya Soni, and Nevin Dalvin—who drowned in the basement of Rau's IAS Study Circle in Old Rajinder Nagar, Delhi.
The protests have seen students demanding improved safety measures at coaching centres, stressing the need for action to prevent future tragedies. A candlelight vigil was held, and many expressed their determination to continue the protest until their concerns are addressed.
Authorities, including several political leaders like AAP's Sanjay Singh and Delhi LG VK Saxena, have visited the site, pledging to find solutions. The students' demands include compensation for the victims' families and better facilities in the area.
