NSUI Urges Tribute to Manmohan Singh at New Delhi College

The National Students' Union of India (NSUI), affiliated with the Congress, has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to name the upcoming Delhi University college after former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh rather than Veer Savarkar.
NSUI highlighted Singh's pivotal contributions to education and governance, arguing that such a tribute would honor his transformative impact. They pointed to his legacy of founding IITs, IIMs, and AIIMS, and his role in the Central Universities Act.
NSUI has forwarded their appeal to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, underscoring the need for immediate action to recognize Singh's significant contributions to Indian society and education.
