Pioneering Tech in Education: NCERT and IIT-Madras Join Forces

NCERT and IIT-Madras have partnered to integrate AI and ML in education, aiming to enhance access, inclusivity, and quality in line with NEP 2020. The collaboration will focus on multilingual resources and innovative technologies, fostering Continuous Professional Development for teachers and personalized learning experiences.

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has formed a strategic partnership with the Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-Madras) to drive technological innovation in education.

The initiative aims to incorporate advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to enhance accessibility, inclusivity, and educational quality.

The collaboration aligns with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, focusing on multilingual education and harnessing technology to develop innovative pedagogical tools, as confirmed by NCERT Chairman Dinesh Saklani.
