In its ninth edition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's annual Pariksha Pe Charcha is set to take place in January 2026, with registrations open until January 11, as announced by the Ministry of Education. This platform offers students, parents, and teachers the opportunity to discuss exam-related stress and also encourages viewing exams as a celebration, not a burden.
An online competition is organized through the MyGov portal from December 1 to January 11 for selecting participants. This competition invites students from Classes 6 to 12, as well as teachers and parents, to partake in engaging multiple-choice questions.
The eighth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha, broadcasted from Sunder Nursery in Delhi in February, showcased its innovative format by including diverse student representation. The program has seen remarkable growth, setting a Guinness World Record in 2025 with global participation and reaching nearly 5 crore participants in associated activities.
