Union Home Minister Amit Shah confidently announced that implementing a circular economy model nationwide could result in a 20% increase in dairy farmers' income over the next five years.
Speaking at an event at Banas Dairy in Gujarat, Shah praised the management's successful creation of a model that capitalizes on converting cattle dung into biogas and bio-fertilizer, thus advancing additional income streams for farmers.
He also shared plans for future discussions and visits from MPs and cooperative leaders to further explore sustainable dairy practices, contributing to India's 'White Revolution 2.0' initiative aimed at enhancing dairy production and farmers' livelihoods.
