Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin announced on Wednesday that 56 out of 60 candidates who cleared the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams benefited from the state's Naan Mudhalvan scheme. This initiative, alongside specialized programs, has resulted in improved outcomes for students.

Addressing a ceremony honoring successful candidates, CM Stalin congratulated them on their hard work and dedication. He noted that a few years back, Tamil Nadu's representation in the UPSC had dwindled. However, the Dravidian Model government addressed this decline with targeted measures, including the Naan Mudhalvan scheme and interview preparation programs, which have shown promising results.

Stalin urged the new civil servants to uphold humility and social justice in their roles. Highlighting that 60 candidates from Tamil Nadu were selected this year—with 56 benefiting from the Naan Mudhalvan scheme—he expressed hope for even greater success. Launching in 2022, the scheme aims to equip the state's youth with industry-relevant skills, supporting their aspirations to become influential leaders.
