Poland welcomes Germany's decision to send Leopard tanks to Ukraine as they are needed to repel a potential Russian offensive, the Polish president's foreign policy adviser, Marcin Przydacz, said on Wednesday.
"The decision of Chancellor Scholz is received with satisfaction in Poland because those tanks are very much needed in order to repel a possible Russian offensive which is possible in the coming weeks," Marcin Przydacz told Reuters by telephone.
