Maharashtra Leaders Mobilize to Tackle Severe Flooding

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Ministers Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis took immediate steps to manage the severe flooding in Mumbai, Thane, and Pune as heavy rains continue to lash these cities.
Pawar, who visited the state disaster management department at the government headquarters 'Mantralaya,' directed officials in the affected areas to deploy all necessary resources and move residents to safer locations.
Fadnavis received updates about the deployment of two National Disaster Response Force teams in Pune and the use of 11 boats to relocate residents of Ekata Nagar.
Both leaders made a public appeal urging people to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities and to stay calm during the crisis.
