Maharashtra's Path to Naxal-Free Future: Fadnavis' Drive for Change
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced that Maharashtra is on the verge of becoming free from Naxalism as Maoist cadres surrender. During his Gadchiroli visit, Fadnavis praised local police and announced new transportation services, aiming to integrate the district further with the state.

Maharashtra is making strides towards eradicating Naxalism as Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reported a significant decrease in Maoist influence, with many cadres laying down their arms.
On a visit to Gadchiroli, Fadnavis emphasized the waning dominance of Naxalites in the district and praised those who chose to surrender. He stated, 'Naxalism is nearing its end.'
In addition to addressing the Naxal issue, Fadnavis inaugurated a 32-kilometer road connecting the region more directly to Chhattisgarh and introduced new bus services, signaling improved connectivity and regional development.
