Bomb Blast in Peshawar: Police Mobile Van Targeted

A bomb blast in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province injured nine people, including four policemen, when a roadside IED hit a police van. The critical investigation is underway to ascertain the type of explosive device used and gather evidence from the blast site in Peshawar.

At least nine individuals, including four law enforcement officers, were injured in a bomb explosion targeting a police mobile van in Pakistan's turbulent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Thursday.

According to Dr. Mian Saeed, the City Police Chief, the police vehicle struck an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted on a roadside in the Bana Mara area of Peshawar city.

While one police officer's condition is critical, investigations are ongoing to confirm whether a remote-controlled device or an IED was responsible for the explosion. Authorities are actively collecting evidence from the scene to aid in the investigation.
