Deoghar Cybercriminals Nabbed: Rs 13.12 Lakh Seized in Crackdown
Four cybercriminals in Deoghar, Jharkhand were arrested with Rs 13.12 lakh in cash. They posed as fake customer service agents, bank officials, and government officers to deceive people. Raids led to the seizure of cash, mobile phones, ATM cards, and SIM cards. FIRs were lodged, and the accused were jailed.

Four cybercriminals were apprehended in Deoghar, Jharkhand, with police confiscating Rs 13.12 lakh in cash from their possession, a police official reported on Friday.
The arrests took place on Thursday evening after authorities received information that individuals were masquerading as customer service representatives, bank officials, and government officers to defraud victims via phone calls.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Cyber), Raja Kumar Mitra, stated that various items such as mobile phones, ATM cards from different banks, and SIM cards were recovered from the suspects. Police conducted raids at locations under Margomunda police station and Patharadda outpost, with FIRs filed and the culprits incarcerated.
