The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced a temporary deferral of the JKAS examination in response to ongoing discussions about age relaxation for candidates, pending approval from the Lieutenant Governor.
An elected government official revealed that they are advocating for a higher age limit for recruitment processes, and relevant documentation has been sent to the Lok Bhawan for consideration.
The file has been returned to the General Administration Department, and further action awaits input from the Public Service Commission, advisor to the chief minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, stated to the PTI.
