In a significant diplomatic conversation, China's Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of dialogue and restraint in resolving international disputes during a discussion with his Iranian counterpart on Thursday.
According to China's state-run news agency Xinhua, China stands firmly against the use or threat of force in global relations, with Wang Yi expressing belief in Iran's capabilities to safeguard national stability amidst current challenges.
China has expressed hopes that all involved parties prioritize peace and exercise restraint. Officials highlighted Beijing's readiness to play a constructive role in resolving differences through dialogue.
