Bengaluru Customs officials have successfully intercepted a major smuggling attempt at Kempegowda International Airport, seizing 6.24 kg of hydroponic ganja.
Arriving flights from Bangkok were under scrutiny when two passengers were found carrying the narcotics, valued at Rs 2.18 crore, cleverly concealed in their luggage.
Both individuals have been taken into custody under the NDPS Act, 1985, as authorities continue to investigate the origins and potential recipients of the contraband.
