The Jharkhand State Minority Commission's three-member team, under the leadership of Vice-Chairperson Pranesh Solomon, has met with the family of Pappu Ansari. Ansari was allegedly beaten to death earlier this month over suspicions of cattle theft in Godda.

The commission assured Ansari's family of comprehensive governmental assistance, as detailed by Solomon following the team's visit to Ranipur. Two suspects are currently under arrest for their alleged involvement in the mob lynching that took place on January 7.

Solomon emphasized that the legal process would strictly deal with the culprits. The commission plans to recommend compensation for the family and has engaged in discussions with local authorities on improving measures to prevent future incidents of this nature.
