Former U.S. President George W. Bush has chosen to remain neutral in the upcoming presidential election, according to a spokesman on Saturday. The spokesman emphasized Bush's detachment from political endorsements after retiring from presidential politics years ago.
This decision was revealed just a day after former Vice President Dick Cheney publicly declared his support for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, rejecting Republican candidate Donald Trump. Cheney strongly criticized Trump, calling him the greatest threat to the republic in American history.
Kamala Harris hailed the endorsements from Dick Cheney and his daughter Liz, praising their courage to prioritize the country over party loyalty. Meanwhile, former Vice President Mike Pence decided not to support Trump but refrained from endorsing Harris.
