In the aftermath of Haryana's election outcome, Communist Party of India General Secretary D Raja has called upon the Congress and the INDIA bloc to engage in a serious self-reflection. Raja criticized the lack of mutual trust and discrepancies during seat-sharing discussions, which, he argues, hindered the bloc's effectiveness against the BJP.
Raja questioned Congress' strategy, pointing out how certain INDIA bloc parties were excluded despite prior promises. He suggested that missed opportunities in strategic alliances allowed the BJP to exploit social divisions, which might have otherwise led to their defeat in Haryana.
The BJP claimed dominance in Haryana's political future till 2047, a statement Raja deemed overly ambitious. Reflecting on history, he remarked on their absence in the freedom struggle. On matters in Jammu and Kashmir, Raja praised Farooq Abdullah's leadership amidst BJP's controversial policies, accentuating changes underway.
