In a fervent rallying speech on Wednesday, Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor called on the people of Bihar to abandon political affiliations based on 'jaat' (caste) and 'bhaat' (free rations).
Speaking ahead of the upcoming by-polls in the Ramgarh assembly segment, Kishor argued that Biharis have been short-changed by previous state regimes and the central government under Narendra Modi.
Kishor's fiery address also targeted the BJP, warning citizens against supporting a party that endorses Nitish Kumar for another term, despite ongoing grievances like bureaucratic overreach and mandatory prepaid electric meters.
