In a dramatic turn of events, Aaditya Thackeray, a prominent leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), has launched a scathing attack on rival Sena faction ministers for their decision to boycott a Maharashtra cabinet meeting, an action he deems selfish and an affront to the citizens of Maharashtra.
As civic elections loom, internal discord has surfaced with Shiv Sena ministers in the BJP-led Mahayuti government opting out of the weekly cabinet meeting. Speculations arise that this move stems from discontent about BJP's alleged efforts to sway Sena workers in Thane.
Chandrakant Khaire, another leader from the Sena (UBT), echoes concerns about escalating tensions between the alliance factions. Former MP Khaire alludes to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis sidelining Sena ministers and halting initiatives by the Shinde faction, further fueling political unrest.
