Cyprus Cabinet Reshuffle: A New Chapter for Christodoulides
In a strategic move to boost declining approval ratings, Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides has reshuffled his cabinet, including changes in the energy, labour, justice, health, and welfare ministries. The shake-up comes as he prepares for a potential second term, with new ministers set to be sworn in on December 8.

Facing dwindling approval ratings, Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides enacted a cabinet reshuffle on Friday, replacing key ministers in a bid to reinforce his administration's standing. Energy Minister George Papanastasiou was replaced by Michael Damianos, previously the health minister.
The reshuffle is part of Christodoulides's efforts to rejuvenate his government mid-term and set the stage for a second presidential run, despite polls showing approval ratings below 30%.
This significant political maneuvering will culminate on December 8, when the newly appointed ministers will officially take their oaths of office.
