The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused the Congress of attempting to shield infiltrators under the guise of its rally concerning the 'vote theft' issue. The rally is being seen as a move to protect 'ghuspaithiyas' or infiltrators from being removed from electoral rolls, according to BJP assertions.
The BJP insists that the country's democratic framework remains resilient and will not be swayed by what they describe as the Congress's attempt to mislead the public and insult constitutional institutions. Nonetheless, the Congress's rally at the Ramlila Maidan is highlighting alleged discrepancies in the electoral process, featuring prominent leaders like Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Rahul Gandhi.
Sambit Patra, BJP's national spokesperson, attacked the rally as an effort in 'appeasement politics' and dared Congress to substantiate their allegations of poll irregularity, citing Union Home Minister Amit Shah's rebuttal in Parliament. Patra challenges Congress to formally contest the Bihar polls within the available timeframe if they suspect any malpractice.
