Addressing ongoing rumors regarding a possible change in Karnataka's leadership, AICC General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala assured there is no meeting scheduled for the Congress legislature party in the state. He emphasized the importance of not speculating on this matter and invited patience from the media while the party deliberates.
Surjewala confirmed that the leadership decisions will prioritize Karnataka's best interests rather than individual preferences. In discussions with the CM and Deputy CM about forthcoming Rajya Sabha and Legislative Council elections, a variety of suggestions were considered, with more expected. While media reports hint at Chief Minister Siddaramaiah preparing to step down, Surjewala highlighted the party's commitment to Karnataka's well-being in the decision-making process.
