INDIA Bloc Unites: Opposition Leaders Gather to Strengthen Strategy
In a significant meeting held in New Delhi, leaders from 23 political parties underscored the importance of 'broader opposition unity' within the INDIA bloc. The discussions focused on consolidating efforts both within and outside Parliament, addressing national challenges, and planning future expansions, with the next meeting set for August in Hyderabad.

The INDIA bloc convened in New Delhi, emphasizing the need for a unified opposition front. Revolutionary Socialist Party leader NK Premachandran highlighted that 'broader opposition unity' is central to the alliance's objectives, as discussed during the meeting.
Efforts to maintain parliamentary coordination were underlined, with discussions encompassing the political climate and post-election scenarios in five states. Premachandran also indicated plans to bolster the alliance's grassroots presence.
Held at the Constitution Club of India, the meeting attracted leaders from 23 parties. Notable attendees included Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with TMC's Mamata Banerjee, Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav, and RJD's Tejashwi Yadav. Despite some leaders participating virtually, the aim was a cohesive response to political and economic issues.
