Ukraine's Tactical Strikes Deep in Russian Territory
Ukraine has launched strategic attacks on Russian oil facilities in Tver and Stavropol, as part of responding to prolonged conflict initiated by Russia. Ukrainian President Zelenskiy communicated these actions as a countermeasure to continued Russian aggression, with recent attacks also targeting key oil infrastructure in Ufa and Rostov.
Ukraine has executed targeted strikes on Russian oil depots located in Tver and Stavropol, regions approximately 500 kilometers away from active combat zones, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced on Thursday.
Zelenskiy stated on X that these attacks are part of Ukraine's long-range sanctions strategy aimed at countering Russia's prolonged conflict and ongoing assaults.
The Ukrainian leader also reported recent strikes on a Russian oil pumping station in Ufa and an oil loading terminal in the Rostov region, underscoring the strategic reach of Ukrainian operations within Russian territory.
