Industries Department officials here on Saturday were asked to take immediate steps to implement all proposed industrial projects in the district for employment generation.
Una Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma on Saturday met the officials and discussed with them proposals for a Bulk Drug Park, Pharma Formulation Park, Tool Room Project, HPCL's Ethanol Plant, Green-Co Company, and other projects. He said that the first installment of Rs 225 crore has been approved for the construction of Bulk Drug Park which is to be built at a cost of Rs 1,923 crore. Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for drinking water schemes and electricity projects costing Rs 35 crore and Rs 100 crore, respectively, under this project have been prepared, he said.
