In a tragic incident, a male tiger known as T-43 was found dead in the Sanjay Tiger Reserve, Sidhi district, Madhya Pradesh, reportedly due to electrocution by a live wire.
The wire was allegedly set by a farmer to shield his crops from wildlife intrusion, according to forest official Sudhir Mishra.
With Madhya Pradesh boasting the highest number of tigers in India, such incidents underscore the ongoing conflict between agricultural practices and wildlife conservation efforts.
