Kumaraswamy Lashes Out at Congress Over Bengaluru's Pothole Plight

Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy criticized the Congress-led Karnataka government for the deteriorating infrastructure in Bengaluru, dubbed 'city of potholes.' In a scathing critique of the Congress-led government in Karnataka, JD(S) leader and Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy labeled Bengaluru as 'the city of potholes' due to its failing infrastructure. The former chief minister implored industries to remain in the city, promising to rejuvenate its greatness.

His comments come in the wake of significant frustration among industry stalwarts like ex-Infosys CFO Mohandas Pai and Biocon Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, who urged governmental action after logistics firm BlackBuck decided to relocate. Kumaraswamy condemned Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his deputy, blaming them for the city's woes.

Kumaraswamy accused the government of corruption and incompetence, citing neglect of development and prioritizing electoral promises over infrastructural needs. He called for immediate accountability, urging businesses to stay committed to Bengaluru's rich legacy and assured collaborative efforts to restore its esteemed status.
