Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has set a timeline for the much-anticipated airport project in Warangal, announcing that construction will begin by the end of March next year.
Speaking at a public event in Warangal, Reddy criticized the former BRS government for its failure to establish a second airport in the state besides Hyderabad. He noted that unlike Telangana, neighboring states such as Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh boast multiple airports.
Promising to complete land acquisition by December, the Chief Minister further outlined plans for developing major infrastructure projects in Warangal, similar to those in Hyderabad. He highlighted the launch of integrated residential schools and universities as part of efforts to uplift education, positioning this as a transformative tool for poverty alleviation.
