Google Keep introduces single note widget for Android users
When using Google Keep, Android users can now pin a note or list to their home screen and also edit them in the app with a single tap. The single note widget provides quick access to important notes and lists right from the home screen.
With the new feature:
- Lists enable you to toggle checkboxes directly on the note without having to open the Google Keep app.
- Notes and lists will reflect any background colors and reminders present within the Keep app.
- A collaborator icon will appear at the bottom of the note to indicate if it is a shared note between two or more people.
"By giving you quick and easy access to your most important notes and lists on your home screen, we hope this feature increases your productivity while using the Keep app," Google wrote in a post.
Google Keep single note widget is gradually rolling out to both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains and will be available to all Google Workspace customers, as well as legacy G Suite Basic and Business customers as well as to users with personal Google Accounts.
