Terror Strikes Again: Balochistan Train Targeted in Latest Attack

An explosion rocked a passenger train bound for Quetta in Balochistan, Pakistan, marking the third such attack since March. Fortunately, no passengers were injured in this incident.
According to railway officials, explosives damaged a section of track between Bakhtiarabad and Damboli in the Sibi district. The blast partially damaged Coach No 7 of Bolan Mail traveling from Karachi to Quetta. Station master Murtaza Khan described the incident as an act of terrorism. The train safely reached the Sibi railway station.
In the aftermath, train services have been suspended in the area as security forces secured the site and dispatched a technical team. The Jaffer Express, traveling from Punjab, was halted, while another was stopped in Sibi. Balochistan has seen several similar attacks in recent years, highlighting vulnerabilities in its transport infrastructure.
