Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday accused the Union government of being complicit in the significant disruptions within IndiGo services, pointing to what he termed as a 'huge scam.'

Kejriwal's comments come amid IndiGo's cancellation of more than 4,000 flights since December 2, leaving thousands stranded and disrupting plans across the country. He questioned the competence of the government in managing the aviation sector, expressing doubts over the inquiry panel set up to investigate the issue.

Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu assured that no airline would be allowed to cause public hardship due to planning failures, promising strict action against non-compliance. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered IndiGo to cut flights by 5% on busy routes during winter and submit a new schedule.
